My Approach

I am dedicated to providing focused, deep, intentional treatment based on your needs. You never need to decide or feel limited to one style of massage - unless it is your preference. I will blend a variety of techniques to provide a more well-rounded and unique treatment that best suits your needs and will provide the best results to the problems you are experiencing.

Services & Styles

Sports Massage: Sports massage uses a variety of different massage therapy techniques to prevent and rehabilitate specific activity-related injuries. If used before a workout or event, a sports massage can help stimulate circulation and prepare the body for strenuous activity. Sports massage is great for preventing and alleviating muscle soreness and reducing recovery time between workouts.

Deep Tissue Massage: The most commonly sought out massage. Deep tissue techniques are commonly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, strains, and sports injuries. Using slow, deep strokes with sustained pressure - this type of massage will target your connective tissues and the inner layers of your muscles. This assist in breaking down the scar tissues that develop after injuries and will reduce tension in both the muscle and tissue.

NISA (Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment): Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment (NISA) stretches and softens the body’s fascia, the thin sheet of tissue that resides underneath the skin. It is a gentler version of Rolfing that is ideal for people with limited mobility. NISA improves posture, relieves pain, increases flexibility, and enhances overall wellbeing. NISA has long-lasting effects and is an excellent treatment for physical rehabilitation.

Shiatsu: Shiatsu uses the same meridian system as acupuncture but with the use of physical pressure from the hands, thumbs, and elbows. It is a deeply personalized therapy based on the patient’s needs and comfort level.

Additional Services

Cupping: Cupping is an alternative therapy originating in China that dates back thousands of years. Cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This therapy helps to promote healing through increased blood flow and circulation, in addition to tension and pain relief.

Eldoa: This technique focusses on using postural self-normalising designed to widen the space within a chosen articulation. This happens off of the bed and focusses on the spine. ELDOA has an excercise for every articulation in the spine targeted at creating more space between verterbra. Creating more space between verterbrae can assist with acute and chronic back pain.
